The Wise Woman builds upon the Rock; Christ and His teachings
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

True Love and faith involve obedience
God’s Word is Faithful and True! The scriptures tell us in James 1:19–27 don’t just be hearers of the word and “deceive ourselves” but we must be doers of the word. (Hear the Lord’s words and put them into practice). We must do what it says.
Build on the rock
We must build our lives upon the foundation of Jesus Christ. The bible is our blueprint. We must build according to His Word, God’s absolute truth. The house that stands firm is the house that was built upon the rock; Christ and His teachings.
Let us acknowledge that we need God’s Infinite Grace. Acknowledge that we are in need of His help. May we ask for His grace to obey His every command and His ways are not burdensome. Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am [a]gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
May we take great delight in His Word, prayer is our life line. We are called to never stop praying we are to take our petitions, requests and thanksgiving to Him because He is so Faithful in all He does. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
He is Always there to guide the way! John 14:6
Never stop praying
I have learned when I am struggling with trust, faith, endurance, sin, to be honest with God. Confessing all and asking for His forgiveness, guidance, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, peace and patience to get me through. He is the foundation, the Rock of Salvation! and It is not according to our timetable but according to His time and His will.
The storms will come, the floods and torrents of life but He is our hiding place, a safe haven, a strong tower. He has all authority and we belong to Him.
He is my Foundation, my Solid Rock, and those who put their Trust in Him will Never be put to shame.
