…Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”Esther 4:14

The Book of Esther is about a heroine who was beautiful, brave, and brilliant; she trusted in the sovereignty of God. God powerfully used Esther to save the Jewish people, His people, from destruction.
Throughout history, the nations have tried to assault and annihilate the Jewish people clearly because they are God’s chosen people, and the scriptures point us to the Jewish people and to the true and living God, the God of Heaven, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, who is strong and mighty in battle. We can see God’s redemptive plan throughout the scriptures.
Bible prophecy gives us a blueprint of God’s plan for the nation of Israel, the Jewish people.
Let us be women who know Theology because we study it for ourselves, and the Holy Spirit promises to lead us in all truth. (John 16:13, Isaiah 11:2, John 14:26, John 7:16-18, 1 John 4:6 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 John 1:9, 1 John 2:27).
I love the canon of scripture, the 66 books of the Bible, the Old Testament, and the New Testament. It is filled with truth, encouragement, hope, the Rock of Salvation, the Good News, Christ Jesus the Messiah, and God’s mighty power.
I love to learn about the women of the Bible, Biblical women who have reverence and honor for the Lord (the fear of the LORD) and who love God wholeheartedly.
When I think of Queen Esther, I think of her bravery, courage, beauty, and intelligence. The boldness God gave her to fight for her people by calling a three-day fast, and she boldly went to the courts of king Ahasuerus (Xerxes) of Persia. He could have decreed her death for approaching him uninvited; appearing before the king uninvited would be a capital offense unless he spared the intruder’s life by extending the golden scepter.
We, too, can be like Queen Esther; as believers in Christ as Christians, we can come boldly to God’s throne of grace and know that God’s Golden Scepter is always extended out to the Believer or anyone who calls upon the name of the LORD. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We can intercede; we can cry out to God and ask for His help.

Queen Esther would approach king Ahasuerus (Xerxes) and ask for a banquet to intercede on behalf of her people because Mordecai had told Queen Esther of Haman, the son of Hammedatha. Haman was an Agagite, a descendant of the kings of Amalekites. Mordecai told Queen Esther of Haman’s antisemitism and his plan to annihilate the Jewish people.
I love Mordecai’s bravery and His love of God; he had the Fear of the Lord and was not afraid of man. Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman, a mere man, and especially to an Amalekite.
Antisemitism (also spelled anti-Semitic or antisemitism) is hostility to, prejudice towards, or discrimination against the Jewish people.
Although God’s name is not explicitly found in the Book of Esther, we can surely see throughout this Book His power and providence as He provides deliverance for His people.
God cares for His people, and He would protect them from antisemitism (inspired by the devil, satan).
I’m so grateful for the life of Esther and how God used her in an extraordinary way; she is an all-time heroine of mine. I can’t wait to meet her in heaven.
I love Esther’s Famous and heroic words; “if I perish, I perish!”
“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” Esther 4:16
I cannot help but think of Queen Esther as she puts on her royal robes, summons her courage, and approaches king Ahasuerus (Xerxes) uninvited. Oh, may we approach the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and may we adorn ourselves with God’s Royal Robes of Righteousness as we fight on our knees against the kingdom of darkness. Victory is ours in Christ Jesus. Our Hope of Glory.
I stand with Israel. Pray for Israel, fast, and pray for their soldiers, leaders, and their people, their families, and children; pray that God will get all the glory. Pray that they come to know the Messiah Yeshua, Christ Jesus of Nazareth, and that the Prince of Peace would fill their hearts.
For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14
Careless seems the great avenger:
History’s pages but record
One death grapple in the darkness,
‘twixt old systems and the Word.
Truth for ever on the scaffold;
Wrong for ever on the throne:
But that scaffold sways the future;
and behind the dim unknown
Standeth God, within the shadow,
keeping watch above His own.
