A Letter to You

Dear Sisters;

I have been reluctant to share something with you, because I know you'll think I'm crazy and decide to leave the group. With what transpired on Friday, I decided to tell you what the Lord placed on my heart about 2 months ago.

 As some of you know by reading my webpage, the Lord has given me a gift of receiving prophetic words, and I've had visions. I do believe we live in the latter days, and scripture supports that in the last days He will pour out His Spirit and give some of His children special gifts. I have seen within the body of Christ that people who had never been able to have visions, have begun to have them, along with prophetic words.

 About 2 months ago, the Lord gave me the words, "Bank Collapse." The next day as I was watching the 700 Club, Pat Robertson had a guest on who is a pastor in Toronto, Canada. He said the Lord woke him up and told him "Worldwide Economic Collapse."  Just 2 days later, President Bush announced that he was creating a stimulus plan that will help the economy. I saw both of these as a confirmation to the word the Lord gave me.

On Friday of last week, a large investment bank was on the verge of collapsing when the government, along with contributors, rescued  it.

 Last week we also saw the stock market take a deep plunge, revived itself, only to lose at the end of the week. Please see these as a warning. I started the food pantry series soon after the Lord gave me that word, so that many of you will be prepared. But more importantly, be prepared spiritually by spending as much time with the Lord as you can. It will only be our strong faith that will help us get through the coming storm. I do hope the words I heard were "all in my head" and there isn't a stitch of truth in it. For now, though, it's best to play it safe.

 Here is a link that has some news reports about our fragile dollar, and our economy.

 I am in no way trying to create fear. Please don't see this as that. If the bank had not collapsed on Friday, I would never had said a word. In this case, I was hearing right. My concern is that the pastor in Canada heard right.

 Faithfully,

 Donna ~ written March 16, 2008
